On my recent travels to California and Portugal I started collecting these „neon beauties“. I feel simultaneously attracted to and repulsed by these solitary sculptures. At night they may have nearly a magical fairytale aura but are after all just profane and rather unglamorous fast food restaurants or night clubs.
