Jürgen Litfin is the brother of Günter Litfin, who was the first victim of the Berlin Wall 1961. He was shot to death while trying to escape to the West. Jürgen, who was arrested himself by the Stasi secret police for month until he was redeemed by the West, is still angry and filled with bitterness as if it was yesterday. He committed himself to remind of the cruelty of the old system . In 2002 he founded a private memorial place and museum in ond of the only two still existing watch towers where he tells curious tourists from all over the world of his life in the GDR, everyday ever since.
